Our annual appearance at the renowned Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America (SPBGMA) winter festival. This is a huge indoor festival that includes several days of stage shows by the top bands in the world of bluegrass music, a band contest, workshops and nearly continuous jamming in rooms and hallways. You can’t “not have fun” here!
The Joe Val festival is one of our all-time favorite festivals! Great location/hotel, always a fantastic band roster, and the perfect time of the year for a good “bluegrass fix” with a wonderful bluegrass community. Plenty of jamming and excellent workshops. Our friends of the Boston Bluegrass Union are celebrating 40 years of bringing top quality bluegrass music for the Boston area. Come help us celebrate this milestone year with Stan and all the good BBU folks!
We are very happy to return to one of Norman Adams’ fine festivals and this is a great one! Please join us at the 12th Annual Palatka Bluegrass Festival for a fun weekend of great music and picking galore.
We have played here numerous times – in concert and also many years ago as cast members of Cotton Patch Gospel – and it is definitely one of our all-time favorite theaters to play. Located in the quaint town of Woodstock, IL, it is a very historic and beautiful venue.
This is a great venue and we have not played here since 2012 – looking forward to seeing our MI friends!
We have not performed at this beautiful, historic venue in many years – it is a great place for a bluegrass concert and we would appreciate your support.
Our longtime friend Orin Friesen has graciously volunteered to coordinate this concert at the renowned Prairie Rose Opera House – what a wonderful opportunity for the Special C boys to play here! We have so many friends in the Wichita area and from the Winfield festival that we hope to see at this show. Huge thanks to Orin!!!
We always truly enjoy playing here and will especially enjoy doing a Sunday matinee performance this time. This area is home base for Rick and the Faris family. Bring your whole family to spend a Sunday afternoon with The Special C boys!
Greg returns to the faculty to teach bluegrass banjo on the 20th anniversary year of this fantastic bluegrass music camp, located in the beautiful hill country of England.
This is a wonderful listening room and we always enjoy our performances here. Looking forward to seeing our VA friends!
