Greg will be teaching bluegrass banjo at this great camp that includes both bluegrass and old-time banjo instruction March 22 through March 25. Greg will be teaching bluegrass banjo, Rick will be teaching flatpicking guitar and Special C alum Ashby Frank will be teaching bluegrass mandolin at this camp based in the beautiful countryside of Germany. Greg is back to teach banjo and Dan to teach bass at this excellent banjo camp, along with some of the very best players/instructors of both bluegrass and old-time banjo styles. This is a wonderful weekend of “banjo immersion” and includes workshops on guitar, mandolin, fiddle and bass as well.
Greg will teach Advanced Bluegrass Banjo for the renowned Augusta Heritage Center Bluegrass Week. This is a wonderful camp for all bluegrass instrument and vocal students – fabulous faculty members, lots of jamming and concerts in addition to classroom study. Highly recommended for all bluegrass players and singers!
We are very excited to be performing at the Nimble Fingers Festival on Aug 25 and teaching at the Nimble Fingers Bluegrass & Old Time Music Workshop Aug 26-31. This is a premier music camp in the beautiful country of BC, Canada and Craig Korth and Julie Kerr are the wonderful and fun people who own and organize the camp. Highly recommended!
